SUMMARY:2026 Good Friday pilgrimage (Urban Stations of the Cross) 
DESCRIPTION:The 45th annual Good Friday Pilgrimage (Urban Stations of the Cross) sponsored by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Atlanta’s Justice and Peace Ministries will take place on Friday\, April 3\, 8:45 a.m. to 12 p.m. This walking prayer is a moving experience that includes scripture readings\, reflections\, prayer and music as we remember the passion of Christ and the social injustices in our world today.    \n\n\n\nWe will gather to begin our journey at 8:45 a.m. at the Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception\, located at 48 Martin Luther King\, Jr. Drive\, SW\, Atlanta\, Georgia 30303. There is a midway rest at the Loudermilk Center for use of the facilities and water bottle refills. We will conclude at approximately 12 p.m.\, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church\, 25 Boulevard\, NE.  \n\n\n\nTransportation will be available to return participants to our starting point where public parking is available. The two-mile route is considered wheelchair/stroller accessible.  \n\n\n\nPlease contact me at kdoyle@archatl.com for more information or to volunteer to be a reader or carry the cross. All faiths are welcome!
