The Archdiocesan Music Festival is held each year to join musicians and chorus members from our Catholic schools together for a day of learning and performing in a large ensemble. Music directors from each school work with participating students in fifth through eighth grades to prepare them for a day of blending their talents with those of peer students from other schools. Guest Choir and Band Directors lead the newly assembled groups throughout the day and conduct a culminating performance at day’s end for parents. This unique experience exposes the students to new directors, new music selections and new friends.
