Restorative justice is an approach to justice that emphasizes living in right relationship with all of creation. Using restorative approaches to address harm and trauma can help us to repair relationships and work toward reconciliation and forgiveness. Monsignor Stuart Swetland, President of Donnelly College in Kansas City, will speak about the connections between restorative justice and Catholic teaching. We will also look at some of the many ways restorative approaches can be useful in addressing the challenges faced in our parish communities, as well as how restorative justice can enrich the work of parish ministries.
