Roots and History of American Muslims: Dispelling the Myths and Misconceptions

Our speaker will be Mr. Reche Tariq Abdul-Haqq – the 2017 Speaker of the Year for the Islamic Speakers Bureau of Atlanta. \

With the support of the Archdiocese of Atlanta Justice & Peace Ministries, meeting participants will be eligible to visit a mosque in North Atlanta in September.

For over 50 years, the Church has encouraged dialogue and understanding with our Muslim brothers and sisters. As Pope Francis said, with the world getting smaller, it is even more important to promote understanding among those who don’t share the Christian faith but who worship the God of Abraham.
