Middle School Social Studies Teacher

Saint Thomas More Catholic School is seeking a passionate and mission-driven full-time middle school social studies teacher for the 2026–27 school year. This position serves students in grades 6–8 and calls for an educator who engages and empowers learners in history, civics, geography and cultural studies while supporting and accompanying their growth in mind, body and spirit. Primary responsibilities include delivering high-quality instruction, fostering positive classroom relationships and contributing to a joyful, faith-filled learning environment and school family. Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree and a valid teaching certificate in social studies, history, education or a related area; creative skills, strong relationship-building skills and a heart for Catholic education. Prior experience in Catholic education is strongly preferred.
