Chaplaincy program at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport
The Interfaith Airport Chapel at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is a refuge for anxious travelers and workers looking for some quiet time of reflection.

The Interfaith Airport Chapels provide a sanctuary in the world’s busiest airport. The Interfaith Airport Chapels are available to all faiths for reading, meditation and prayer. The Chapels are open to passengers, visitors, and airport and airline employees. Currently there are about 63,000 employees and a quarter of a million passengers passing through every day.
Chaplaincy services are available throughout the week to assist the traveling public and airport employees with their spiritual needs.
- Catholic Mass is celebrated each Sunday at 4:30pm on Concourse F.
- Catholic Communion Services are held each Tuesday and Thursday at 11:30am on Concourse F.
- A service of Christian worship is held each Sunday at 11:30 a.m. in the Atrium and 1:00 p.m. on Concourse F.
- A service of Islamic Juma is held every Friday at 1:45 p.m. in the Atrium Chapel.
Currently there is one priest and several deacons serving at the airport. They are there in a ministry of service to employees and guests of the airport. In addition to the services listed above, they conduct Communion Services, participate in honor guards for receiving remains of fallen soldiers, set up areas for travelers to have a Mass for their group, assist in crises events and being a presence to employees.
