Atlanta Habitat for Humanity is seeking Catholic schools, colleges, parishes and other groups to partner for a home build in honor of Pope Francis. Building a house for a low-income Atlanta family aligns with Pope Francis’ commitment to social justice and reinvigorating the Catholic Church.
Thanks to a very generous supporter, the majority of the funds have been raised to fund the Pope Francis Build. Now we need your assistance filling in the gaps! This is a unifying, celebratory opportunity for both Catholic and non-Catholic volunteers to work and donate towards a common goal and to further Atlanta Habitat’s affordable housing mission.
The build will take place over seven Saturdays beginning on November 14, 2015 and ending on January 30, 2016. If you are interested in participating, please contact Haley Hart, sponsorship associate with Atlanta Habitat, at haley.hart@atlantahabitat.org or call 404-223-5180 ext. 171.
As Pope Francis says “Work confers dignity.” Why won’t you join us and help build a better Atlanta!?
