Catholic Parenting Retreat

Family Honor, a Catholic organization with formal approval from the Diocese of Charleston, is hosting a “Parenting with Theology of the Body (TOB)” retreat at the Monastery of the Holy Spirit in Conyers, Georgia. Designed within the peaceful environment of a Trappist monk’s weekend retreat format, this workshop addresses the most pressing issues for parents today—including screens, media and navigating a sexually confused culture.
Utilizing Family Honor’s Leading and Loving program, the retreat helps deepen parents’ understanding of God’s gift of sexuality and builds the confidence needed to talk to their children about the “why” behind what our faith teaches. The weekend will also include opportunities for participants to join the monks for Mass and the Liturgy of the Hours.
When: Friday, September 4 – Sunday, September 6
Where: Monastery of the Holy Spirit, Conyers, GA
Cost: $215 for individuals/$420 for couples (early bird rates available). Price includes lodging, meals, materials and formation.
