Mass of Belonging
October 18 at 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
On Sunday, October 18, the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception will host the annual Mass of Belonging with the theme “More than Welcome,” a special opportunity to acknowledge LGBTQ Catholics and give thanks for the gifts that they bring to the Church. All LGBTQ Catholics, their families, friends and allies are invited to attend the Mass at 11 a.m. and enjoy a reception afterward.
The event is co-sponsored by the Archdiocese of Atlanta’s Restorative Justice Ministries and by Fortunate and Faithful Families. This year’s Mass of Belonging is also sponsored by Outreach, a national ministry that celebrates and elevates the experiences of LGBTQ Catholics in dioceses across the country.
The reception after Mass is free of charge, but registration is required. Please register below by Monday, October 12. We look forward to welcoming you and affirming our unity in Christ!
