Prayer Service of Hope and Healing

Victim Assistance Program for the Archdiocese of Atlanta is organizing a prayer service of hope and healing for survivors of abuse and those who love and care for them. The service is set for Wed., October 14, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, with Archbishop Gregory J. Hartmayer, OFM Conv., presiding.
The theme of the prayer service is taken from the prayer of St. Francis, “Make me a channel of your peace…Where there’s despair in life, let me bring hope. Where there is darkness, only light, And where there’s sadness, ever joy…”. The prayer service will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church from 7-8 p.m. with a reception to follow.
