Evangelization

Called to Live the Gospel

As disciples of Jesus Christ, we are called to evangelization, ongoing conversion and to continually grow in holiness. The Archdiocese of Atlanta provides various resources for Catholic adults to help deepen their relationship with the Lord, strengthen their knowledge of the Catholic faith and live out the Gospel in their daily lives.

Adult faith formation and living the call to missionary discipleship can take a wide variety of forms. Explore this page to find resources for Catholic adults of all ages.

Prayer

Prayer is our daily conversation with God, drawing us closer to Him and aligning our lives with His will. Through prayer, we deepen our relationship with Christ, find strength in times of trial and are grateful for the blessings we receive.

Explore different kinds of prayer for adults of all ages.

  • Lectio Divina is a spiritual reading of sacred Scripture. One first listens, notes what is given and responds in a way one is directed by the Holy Spirit.
  • The Daily Examen is a prayer of St. Ignatius of Loyola with five structured parts to help you reflect on your day.
  • The Rosary is a prayer tradition that has been known for centuries that includes prayers for each bead.
  • Pray with the saints, who are models of how to live a Christian life.
