Discern Your Vocation
How is Christ inviting you to serve his church with your life?
Every person is created by God and meant for a unique purpose. The Archdiocese of Atlanta offers services to help you discern how God is calling you to a life of holiness. Whether it is a call to priesthood, diaconate, religious life or marriage, we will walk with you in your discernment, offering prayer, guidance and support.
A vocation is a profound commitment to follow God’s call. The Church needs faithful disciples who are willing to say “yes” to the Lord. Wherever you are in your journey, we invite you to take the next step in prayer and openness in God’s plan.
A Life of Service
- Priesthood: Serving the church through performing sacred rites, administering sacraments and providing spiritual guidance.
- Deacons: Strengthened by sacramental grace, deacons serve the people of God and are ministers of the liturgy, the Gospel and works of charity.
- Consecrated Life: Men and women consecrated to intimate union with God through a life of total dedication.
- Marriage: A sacred life-long covenant between a man and a woman created in the sanctity of God’s grace.
