Young Adults

Serving Young Adults in Our Community

The life of a young adult is filled with transitions – new jobs, relationships, responsibilities and questions about where God is leading you.

Our ministry serves campus and young adult ministries, helping to support young adults in this transitional time to live as disciples of Christ.

Serving people ages 18-39, we are a hub for ministries, events and communities that invite young adults into authentic relationships with Jesus and others.

Young adults are invited to join our Facebook group to engage with Catholics across our archdiocese.

If you are discerning a vocation to religious life, find support on the vocations webpage.

Check out our calendar of young adult events to get involved.

Campus Ministries

Catholic campus ministries on college and university campuses, also known as Newman Centers, help students live their faith on campus through prayer, study, Masses and community service.

Campus ministries are supported by the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal.

We invite you to support campus ministry at the prestigious colleges and universities within the Archdiocese of Atlanta.

Attending a college/university outside of the Archdiocese of Atlanta? Reach out to Newman Ministry for more information.

Parish Ministries

Parish young adult ministries help to bring together parishioners in their 20s and 30s for prayer, liturgical events, service opportunities and fellowship.

All young adults are invited to connect with a young adult ministry at your parish or one in your community.

Want to start a young adult ministry in your parish? Email oed@archatl.com and review our resources section for support.

Small Groups and Organizations

Various small groups and organizations bring together Catholic young adults from across the Archdiocese of Atlanta to support one another in faith and the various aspects of young adult life.

  • Blessed Is She is a Catholic women’s community committed to deepening a life of prayer.
  • Courage is a group for men and women who experience same-sex attraction. EnCourage is for their family members and friends. There is a chapter in Atlanta for both groups.
  • Eden Invitation is a ministry for people with LGBTQ+ experiences that builds community and lives in congruence with Christ and his church.
  • Endow is a group of women dedicated to growing in faith and friendship.
  • TEC (To Encounter Christ) offers an experience of the Paschal Mystery of Jesus.
  • Young Catholic Professionals (YCP Atlanta) provides opportunities for young adults to go deeper in faith, life and work.
  • Zenith Ministries provides faith-based healing for Catholics ages 18-45 who struggle with anxiety, addiction and spirituality.

Intentional Living (Frassati Houses)

In the spirit of St. Pier Giorgio Frassati, Frassati Houses consist of Catholic young adults who intentionally live together. They are more than just roommates – they share the mission of centering their lives on Christ and strive for holiness through fellowship and community.

Frassati Houses can be formed in various ways:

  • Find virtuous roommates in Atlanta on Facebook.
  • Find roommates in our Atlanta Catholic Young Adult Facebook group.
  • Connect with City on Purpose for Christian-centered fellowship opportunities in Atlanta.

For more information and guidance on what intentional living can look like for you, contact Allen Austin at aaustin@archatl.com.
