Archbishop’s Annual Appeal

The Archbishop’s Annual Appeal is a year-long campaign that funds programs, ministries, schools and other services throughout the Archdiocese of Atlanta.  

Your gift supports various critical initiatives for our local church, including: 

  • Marriage, family, youth and young adult ministries
  • Seminarian education, deacons, continued priest formation and senior priests
  • Outreach and intercultural ministries
  • Parish and mission support, safe environment and hospital ministry

Catholic Charities Atlanta

Catholic Charities Atlanta provides transformative services that empower families to achieve self-sufficiency. We envision a community in which all families live independent, self-directed lives free from financial instability and homelessness.  

We strive to provide compassionate service in partnership with the community, including the archdiocese and its parishes. 

Catholic Charities Atlanta provides a range of life-impacting services, including: 

  • Assistant Services: public benefits, senior housing and enrichment programs; emergency financial aid; Christmas Connections gift distribution to families in need.
  • Counseling and Navigation Services: mental health counseling; housing and financial counseling; refugee supportive services and employment; immigration legal consultations and services; veteran benefits navigation and resources.
  • Education Services: English language instruction; after school tutoring; youth mentoring; financial education and budgeting.

Catholic Charities Atlanta is accredited by the Council on Accreditation and has earned a Platinum Seal of Transparency by GuideStar. More than 80% of funds go directly to our programs.

Catholic Foundation of North Georgia

The Catholic Foundation of North Georgia helps Catholics with faith-inspired giving and legacy planning while stewarding these funds for long-term stability of Catholic organizations within the Archdiocese of Atlanta.

Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program

The Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program is the official student scholarship organization (SSO) for schools sponsored by the Archdiocese of Atlanta and Diocese of Savannah. 

All students receiving GOAL awards have demonstrated financial need as determined by a third-party analysis of a family’s ability to pay tuition.
