Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Brookhaven seeks a full-time facilities supervisor to support the care, maintenance, safety and daily operation of our parish and school campus. Reporting to the director of campus facilities, this position oversees routine maintenance and repairs; supervises maintenance and cleaning personnel; coordinates outside contractors and vendors; supports facility setups for parish and school events; helps maintain campus safety, security and building systems and responds to facility emergencies as needed. Qualified candidates have experience in facilities maintenance or supervision and a working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, hand/power tools, building systems and general troubleshooting. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus. Scheduling flexibility is needed for occasional evenings, weekends and emergency response. Facilities Maintenance

St. Anna Catholic Church in Monroe seeks a part-time facilities maintenance person. Duties include general maintenance for the church and grounds; performing routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs on parish buildings and equipment, including basic plumbing, carpentry, drywall patching, painting and masonry; incidental cleaning as directed; unlock the church when needed for events; set up and takedown of chairs and tables for parish functions; help maintain a safe, clean and orderly environment of all parish facilities; keep entrance ways and common areas clean and free of all debris and ensure all bathrooms are clean and supplied for all Masses and parish activities. Qualified candidates have at least a high school diploma or GED, are collaborative and have some general maintenance knowledge, possess strong communications skills, have consistent attention to detail and are organized. Facilities Assistant

Duties include assisting the campus director of facilities with cleaning and maintaining all church and school buildings, setting up for various meetings and keeping inventory on supplies. The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of power and hand tools; can maintain and repair basic electrical, plumbing and carpentry items; maintains timelines and has good work ethic and respects confidentiality.
