St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Alpharetta seeks a part-time elementary faith formation coordinator to coordinate, maintain and develop the elementary program, family faith formation and vacation bible school. Duties include implementing an existing comprehensive formation curriculum based on the recommendations established by the Archdiocese of Atlanta and include catechetical, spiritual, service and social components; overseeing the Good Shepherd and Buen Pastor programs; coordinating the Finding Faith in Life Discover Bible program (FFL) and collaborating with the director of faith formation and volunteer coordinators on sacramental preparation retreats. Qualified candidates are committed to the teachings of the Catholic Church with a strong, mission-oriented mindset; a high school diploma and some college attendance and experience/education in religious education, Catholic schools, youth, college young adult or family ministry. Must be able to work a schedule that includes some evenings and weekends. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred. Qualified candidates are committed to the teachings of the Catholic Church with a strong, mission-oriented mindset; a high school diploma and some college attendance and experience/education in office administration, hospitality, accounting, fundraising, public relations or event planning. St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church seeks a part-time family faith coordinator to work directly with parents as the primary faith leaders in the home and help families keep Christ at the center of family life. This position works closely with the family faith team to plan, implement and oversee Mass-centered family faith sessions for more than 200 families during the school year; coordinate session materials, take-home resources, volunteers and event logistics; recruit, train and support adult volunteers; foster a culture of servant leadership and volunteer engagement; gather feedback from families and volunteers to continually strengthen programming and serve as an advocate for elementary-aged families within the parish community. Additional duties include overseeing family-focused events such as Vacation Bible School and supporting seasonal parish programs and special events. Qualified candidates possess a strong understanding of Catholic family life and faith formation, excellent communication, organizational, leadership and relationship-building skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with parents, volunteers and parish staff. Previous experience in parish ministry, catechetical leadership, family faith formation or volunteer management is preferred. Regular Sunday participation and flexibility to support parish events and seasonal programming are required. Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Cumming seeks a part-time elementary faith formation coordinator. This position is responsible for coordinating the elementary faith formation classes and implementing opportunities for elementary youth, as well as the recruitment and training of volunteers. Qualified candidates have a degree in theology or religious education teaching experience, are a Roman Catholic in good standing and committed to the Church’s teachings. St. Lawrence Church is seeking a dynamic and faith-filled individual to serve as our middle school youth ministry coordinator. This part-time position is responsible for developing, implementing and coordinating our EDGE middle school program for youth in 6th- 8th grades, including middle school sacramental preparation and catechist formation. The ideal candidate will be passionate about evangelizing young people, building relationships with middle school students and their families, and creating engaging opportunities for faith, fellowship and service. Responsibilities include coordinating the parish EDGE program, recruiting and supporting core team volunteers, planning retreats and the annual Camp Hidden Lake experience, as well as assisting with sacramental preparation for middle school students. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, knowledge of Catholic theology and teaching, and the ability to inspire young people to deepen their faith and become active disciples of Jesus Christ.
