Director of Youth Discipleship

The Cathedral of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus in Knoxville, TN seeks a full-time director of youth discipleship. This position is responsible for coordinating, developing and leading the youth discipleship faith formation program. Under the supervision of the associate pastor of youth and young adult ministry, this role oversees the Sunday evening faith formation program for high school teens and coordinates various high school discipleship small groups throughout the week. Additional duties include implementing and overseeing the confirmation program with an emphasis on lifelong faith formation and discipleship and developing the faith formation program for middle-school students to provide a seamless transition into the high-school youth discipleship program. Facilities Supervisor

Reporting to the director of campus facilities, this position oversees routine maintenance and repairs; supervises maintenance and cleaning personnel; coordinates outside contractors and vendors; supports facility setups for parish and school events; helps maintain campus safety, security and building systems and responds to facility emergencies as needed. Qualified candidates have experience in facilities maintenance or supervision and a working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, hand/power tools, building systems and general troubleshooting.
