Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School, a PK-8 school in DeKalb County, seeks a part-time facilities manager. This position is responsible for the safe and secure operations of all school facilities, grounds and equipment. Duties include managing contractors and vendors; ensuring compliance with fire, safety and building regulatory codes; coordinating major repair and improvement projects; overseeing maintenance staff; and managing inventory and facility budgets. Qualified candidates have at least three years of demonstrated experience in building maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems; problem-solving, planning and communication skills and able to manage multiple projects. Experience in a school or parish setting is preferred. Must be available for facility emergencies outside of work hours if needed. Working closely with the director of advancement, the successful candidate will play a vital role in advancing the school’s mission through strategic fundraising initiatives, including the annual fund, capital campaigns, special events and donor engagement efforts. The primary focus of this position is the expert management of donor records within Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, ensuring a high level of accuracy and confidentiality. Responsibilities include managing all gift processing and donor stewardship communications; generating detailed reports and data analysis to inform fundraising strategies; provide essential administrative support for the daily operations of the office and assist in the execution of advancement events. Must be proficient in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge and Google Workspace, have exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, be a collaborative team player with strong communication skills and able to manage multiple priorities with professional problem-solving skills.
