Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School, a PK-8 school in DeKalb County, seeks a part-time facilities manager. This position is responsible for the safe and secure operations of all school facilities, grounds and equipment. Duties include managing contractors and vendors; ensuring compliance with fire, safety and building regulatory codes; coordinating major repair and improvement projects; overseeing maintenance staff; and managing inventory and facility budgets. Qualified candidates have at least three years of demonstrated experience in building maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems; problem-solving, planning and communication skills and able to manage multiple projects. Experience in a school or parish setting is preferred. Must be available for facility emergencies outside of work hours if needed.
