elementary faith formation coordinator

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Alpharetta seeks a part-time elementary faith formation coordinator to coordinate, maintain and develop the elementary program, family faith formation and vacation bible school. Duties include implementing an existing comprehensive formation curriculum based on the recommendations established by the Archdiocese of Atlanta and include catechetical, spiritual, service and social components; overseeing the Good Shepherd and Buen Pastor programs; coordinating the Finding Faith in Life Discover Bible program (FFL) and collaborating with the director of faith formation and volunteer coordinators on sacramental preparation retreats. Qualified candidates are committed to the teachings of the Catholic Church with a strong, mission-oriented mindset; a high school diploma and some college attendance and experience/education in religious education, Catholic schools, youth, college young adult or family ministry. Must be able to work a schedule that includes some evenings and weekends. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
