St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Cleveland is seeking a part-time administrative assistant to serve as the first point of contact for the parish office and provide administrative support for parish staff. Duties include creating and publishing the weekly parish bulletin, preparing sacramental certificates, recording sacramental events, maintaining the parish schedule of facilities and activities, scheduling Mass intentions and maintaining parishioner information in the parish database. Qualified candidates have a high school diploma (or GED), two to three years of related administrative or secretarial experience, strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills, strong oral and written communication abilities and can manage multiple tasks efficiently. Must be fluent in Spanish with a strong command of the English language. Experience in a church or parish setting is a plus.
