Ignatius House Jesuit Retreat Center seeks a full-time development coordinator to support fundraising and donor stewardship efforts. This is an entry-level role designed for someone eager to learn nonprofit development from the inside and grow professionally while serving a meaningful mission. Qualified candidates have a bachelor’s degree and one to three years of development or non-profit experience (equivalent experience also considered). Must be highly organized and detail oriented; interested in nonprofit development, fundraising or mission-driven communications; a strong writer and thoughtful communicator and comfortable managing multiple projects at once. Experience with donor databases (especially Bloomerang) and graphic design tools like Canva and InDesign preferred. This position will also remotely support the development operation at Gonzaga Eastern Point Retreat House in Gloucester, MA, and includes travel twice per year to Eastern Point for a three-night retreat and in-person collaboration with their team. To apply, please send a resume and brief cover letter explaining your interest in nonprofit development and mission-based work to Megan Denton, director of development, at MDenton@IgnatiusHouse.org.
