Director of Religious Education

Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Cumming seeks a full-time director of religious education. This position is responsible for maintaining a strong and organized faith formation program that supports the spiritual needs of the parish. Responsibilities include overseeing the parish faith formation program, supervising and supporting the faith formation team, teaching sacrament preparation classes for all age groups, recruiting and training catechists and volunteers and promoting faith formation activities in the parish. Qualified candidates have a degree in theology and/or experience teaching religious education. Must be open to a flexible work schedule that includes weekends and be willing to support and uphold the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
