High School Confirmation Coordinator

St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Alpharetta seeks a part-time high school confirmation coordinator. This position is responsible for coordinating, maintaining and developing the high school confirmation preparation programs and retreats and cultivating a pastoral ministry that fosters the personal and spiritual growth of teens and their families. Responsibilities include implementing a comprehensive formation curriculum based on the recommendations established by the Archdiocese of Atlanta including catechetical, spiritual, service and social components and collaborating with the youth minister for retreats, mission trips and summer outreach initiatives such as camps, conferences and pilgrimages. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and some college experience, demonstrate a mature sacramental life, mission-oriented mindset and a combination of education and/or experience in religious education, youth or young adult ministry. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends and be committed to upholding the teachings of the Catholic Church. Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
