Resource Teacher

Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate resource teacher who is committed to supporting all learners. This teacher plays an integral role in supporting students with diagnosed learning differences and those in need of additional academic support. Responsibilities include working closely with faculty, families and support staff to ensure that students receive the strategies, accommodations and encouragement needed to thrive; provides individualized and small group support to students and monitors students’ progress; serves on the student support team; and reviews and interprets student testing data. Qualified candidates have a certification in special education or a related field, are able to develop and implement effective learning strategies and can partner effectively with parents, teachers and staff.
