Youth Minister

St. Clare of Assisi Catholic Church in Acworth seeks a part-time (15hrs/week) youth minister. This position is responsible for coordinating, maintaining and developing the youth ministry program. Responsibilities include planning and leading weekly Sunday night youth ministry gatherings, recruiting and training adult and youth leadership, planning and leading two weekend retreats and other youth ministry events throughout the year. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma and some college experience, have a mission-oriented mindset and a combination of education and/or experience in religious education, youth or young adult ministry. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings and weekends and be committed to upholding the teachings of the Catholic Church.
