Director of Campus Facilities

Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Brookhaven seeks a full-time director of campus facilities to oversee the care, maintenance and safety of the buildings and grounds of our church, school and preschool. This includes the church, parish offices, parish hall, rectory, gym and school facilities. This position manages the daily operation and preventive maintenance of the campus, coordinates repairs and improvement projects and ensures that all spaces remain safe, clean and welcoming for parishioners, students, staff and visitors. Additional responsibilities include supervising maintenance staff, working with outside vendors and contractors, managing inventory and facility budgets, helping to coordinate set-ups for liturgies, parish and school events, ensures compliance with safety standards and archdiocesan guidelines and participates in campus safety planning. Qualified candidates have at least five years of facilities or building maintenance experience, supervisor of a maintenance team experience, knowledge of building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) and strong organizational and communication skills. Experience in a parish, school or nonprofit setting is a plus. Some evening or weekend availability is required. Parish Accountant

This position supports the pastor and business manager by overseeing financial management, reporting and compliance with GAAP and diocesan policies to ensure the financial integrity of the parish’s mission. Responsibilities include maintaining the general ledger; managing accounts payable and receivable; reconciling bank statements; overseeing parishioner contributions and payroll; preparing financial reports; assisting with budgeting; and maintaining accurate records in accordance with diocesan requirements. Qualified candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related experience; 2–5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently and strict confidentiality are essential. Experience with Sage, ParishSOFT Accounting and Paylocity is preferred.
