In 1977, Monsignor John Walsh left his homeland in west Ireland and headed for Georgia.
After long stays at parishes in Stone Mountain, Conyers and Peachtree City, he has settled in as pastor of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Marietta and tonight will celebrate 40 years of priesthood.
