Catholic dioceses in South ‘in a growth mode,’ says archbishop

CHARLESTON, S.C. (CNS)—The Catholic dioceses of the Carolinas and Georgia are experiencing record growth, Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory said during a meeting of the U.S. Catholic Church’s Atlanta province.
