This year’s White Mass in recognition of the dedicated work of physicians and all health care professionals will be celebrated on  Saturday, October 4, at 8:30 a.m. The color white, which denotes the traditional attire worn by medical professionals and symbolizes the dedicated work of those in patient care, gives name to this Mass.

The event, sponsored by the Atlanta guild of the Catholic Medical Association and the Office of Respect Life Ministry of the Archdiocese of Atlanta, will be held at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 1618 Ben King Rd., Kennesaw, GA 30144.

Mass will be followed by a talk from Sister Mary Diana Dreger, OP, on “The Human Person and Healthcare: A Catholic Perspective.”
