The Jubilee Year of Hope, a special year of celebration and spiritual renewal in the Catholic Church, will feature four Ember Saturday Masses at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church. The Masses, presided over by our bishops, will be held on March 15, June 14, September 20 (Spanish) at 10 a.m. The fourth Ember Saturday Mass will be the Rorate Mass on December 20, at 6:30 a.m.
A rosary will be recited before each Mass.
On ember days, the Church is encourage to offer thanks, engage in fasting and abstinence, pray for priests and vocations to the priesthood and offer alms or support to those in need.
