Please pray for the repose of the soul of Reverend Michael L. McWhorter, who passed away on Friday, April 29th.
A Vigil will be held on Wednesday, May 4th from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, 180 N Jeff Davis Drive, Fayetteville, GA 30214. A Vigil Service and Rosary will be led by Fr. Timothy Gadziala at 7:00 p.m.
The Funeral Mass will be Thursday, May 5th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, 152 Antioch Road, Fayetteville, GA 30215. Archbishop Gregory will be the celebrant, Bishop David Talley and Bishop Luis Zarama will concelebrate, and Fr. Timothy Gadziala will be the homilist. Light refreshments will follow.
Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Arlington Cemetery, 201 Mount Vernon Hwy, Sandy Springs, GA 30328.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Gabriel’s St. Vincent de Paul Society or the St. Gabriel’s Building Fund.
