Please pray for the repose of the soul of Fr. Edward O’Connor, who passed away Monday morning, November 7th.
The Vigil Service (Wake), led by Bishop Luis Zarama, will be held Thursday, November 10th at 7:00 p.m. at The Cathedral of Christ the King, 2699 Peachtree Rd., Atlanta, GA 30305. The reception of Fr. O’Connor’s body will be at 6:00 p.m. His body will lie in repose overnight.
The Funeral Mass, celebrated by Archbishop Wilton D. Gregory, will take place at 10:30 a.m. at The Cathedral of Christ the King on Friday, November 11th. Fr. Richard Morrow will be the homilist. A reception will follow in Kenny Hall.
Interment will follow the Funeral Mass at Arlington Memorial Park (Dignity Memorial), 201 Mt. Vernon Hwy. NW, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. The Procession will leave The Cathedral at 12:30 p.m. The Graveside Service, conducted by Archbishop Gregory, begins at 1:30 p.m.
